That’s a Wrap on Brew City 2026
Mother Nature pushed us back a week, then delivered. On Sunday, August 9, 70 boats weighed in at McKinley Marina for the 26th annual Brew City Salmon Tournament. Captain Mark Scaffidi and Milwaukee Offshore took the title with a 151.8-pound cooler, and Christian Miller on Net Result landed the fish of the day, a 21.94-pound lake trout. Thank you to every captain, crew member, volunteer, and sponsor, led by presenting sponsors Weldcraft and Reed Yacht Sales.

We’re already tying leaders for 2027. The date, rules, and registration will be posted here as soon as the tournament committee sets them. Until then, here’s what to expect, based on this year.
The Format
A one-day salmon and trout tournament out of McKinley Marina. Cash and prizes go to the heaviest coolers and to the biggest brown, coho, lake trout, rainbow, and chinook.
The Weekend
It starts with the Captain’s Meeting at McKinley Marina the Friday evening before. Tournament day ends with the weigh-in and awards back at the marina.
The Entry
The 2026 entry fee was $150. Until the 2027 rules are posted, the 2026 rules are the best guide to how the day runs.

Plan Ahead: Where to Dock
No slip at McKinley Marina? Line one up early at another local marina. A few options:
- Lakeshore State Park Marina: reservations online only
- South Milwaukee Yacht Club: 414-762-9819 or smyccommunication@gmail.com
- McKinley Marina: (414) 273-5224, often sold out
- South Shore Yacht Club: (414) 481-2331, membership at another marina or yacht club required
