(New Logo for 2024 to be presented soon!)
The date for Brew City 2024, the 24th Annual Tournament, has been set for Saturday, August 3, 2024. Mark your calendars appropriately. Updates will be forthcoming.
Thank You to all of our wonderful sponsors and to all of the participants in both Divisions! We hope to see you again next year! Please stay tuned as we are not sure where we will host next years’ Tournament at the end of July, as McKinley Marina may not be completed in-time!
Due to construction at McKinley Marina, it was held this year at South Shore Park. The complete details were handed out at the Captains’ meetings for each Division. The dates for the Pro Division were July 28 and 29, with the Captains’ Meeting on July 27. The Amateur Division was July 30 (due to weather), with the Captains’ Meeting on July 28.

Brew City Salmon Tournament 2022 wrap-up
Our Brew City Salmon Tournament for 2022 was a success. the Pro Division fished on 7/28 and 7/30 with 20 boats competing. They caught 1577 pounds of fish on day one, and the combined weight of the Pro and Amateur Divisions on day two was 4215 pounds. Wow! Our generous participants also donated 1740 pounds of dressed fish to the Hunger Task Force! THANK YOU!
Here’s some pictures of our 2022 Tournament
Hopefully by now, everyone knows we have a major sponsor for our Brew City Tournament. We welcome Pratt Gears, LLC as our major sponsor.
Quick Note – Please check out the fish scale inside the McKinley Marina Cleaning Station. This $500, very accurate and State Certified scale was donated, by the Mathwick Family Trust, through the GLSF Foundation, to the Cleaning station. It was purchased from and installed by a local company, Floweigh of New Berlin. A dedication plaque was been hung above the scale. When you see Jay Mathwick, please take a moment to thank him and his family for their very generous donation!
We are now looking for sponsors 2023 for any amount! If you are interested, please send an E Mail to Bob@glsfclub.com!
In 2021 we paid out over $27,000 in prize money to the participants! This included the 25 Big Fish prizes, as well as the $1000 for the heaviest caught in the Tournament, sponsored by Roger Stack and R&R Sports! In 2022, we just missed $40,000 in cash in prizes!
